About the Role We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented SEO Intern to support our SEO and AEO (AI Engine Optimization) initiatives. This role is ideal for someone passionate about search engine optimization, AI SEO strategies, content optimization, and improving search visibility across AI-powered search platforms. The intern will work closely with the SEO team to improve organic visibility, website performance, and search rankings across multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities - Assist in implementing on-page SEO strategies including meta tags, keyword optimization, internal linking, and content structure improvements
- Support off-page SEO activities such as backlink research, outreach, and directory submissions
- Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis using SEO tools
- Assist in optimizing website content for AI search experiences, generative search engines, and evolving search algorithms
- Support AEO (AI Engine Optimization) initiatives to improve visibility in AI-generated search results
- Monitor website traffic, rankings, and performance metrics using Google Analytics and other SEO tools
- Perform SEO audits and identify opportunities for technical and content improvements
- Collaborate with content teams to develop SEO- and AEO-friendly content strategies
- Track and report SEO performance metrics and optimization insights
- Stay updated on the latest SEO, AEO, and AI search trends
Required Skills & Qualifications - Basic understanding of SEO principles and AI SEO concepts
- Knowledge of On-Page SEO, Off-Page SEO, Technical SEO, and AEO fundamentals
- Familiarity with AI SEO tools and AI-assisted content optimization strategies
- Experience or knowledge of tools such as:
- Google Analytics (GA4)
- Google Search Console
- SEMrush
- Ahrefs
- Google Keyword Planner
- Understanding of keyword research, search intent, and content optimization
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications - Coursework or certifications in SEO, AEO, Analytics, or AI SEO
- Familiarity with WordPress or CMS platforms
- Understanding of HTML basics is a plus
- Interest in AI-driven search technologies and generative search platforms
