A busy, growing insurance defense firm has an opening for a Legal Assistant. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience handling personal injury litigation files. The position will focus on construction, trucking and complex bodily injury cases. Responsibilities: Schedule/calendar E-file - State and Federal Draft discovery, pleadings, motions, general correspondence, notices etc Support attorneys and paralegals Responsible for case load of 40-50 Requirements: 2+ years of construction litigation or catastrophic injury experience required (plaintiff or defense) Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills Must be a self-starter who can work well in a team environment Proficient with Outlook, Adobe and Microsoft Word This is an in-office position.
